Health

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn is developing a new, state-of-the-art facility planned for completion in 2032, replacing the existing RAAC-concrete building. The project, part of the national New Hospital Programme, utilizes a, “Hospital 2.0,” standardised,, digitally-enabled, design for a more efficient and sustainable building.

Schools and colleges

On top of affordable housing and good transport, West Norfolk is home to a range of schools, colleges and academies, as well as being within easy reach of several world-leading universities.

The College of West Anglia is one of the largest and most successful training providers in the East of England, and amongst the top colleges in the country. The College was awarded £6.5million for the funding of a new university campus in association with Anglia Ruskin University, bringing even more further education options to the region.

Just outside of West Norfolk sit two of the world’s leading universities, Cambridge University and the University of East Anglia. Specialising in a variety of fields between them, and with names carrying weight around the world, the proximity of these campuses to King’s Lynn and West Norfolk is a big advantage for local families and businesses.
