King’s Lynn Town Deal

King’s Lynn has secured £25m under the government’s Towns Fund programme, which is investing £3.6 billion into over 100 towns, as part of their plans to level up. A Town Investment Plan was developed by the King’s Lynn Town Deal Board during 2022-21 and has secured investment to enhance the economic prosperity of the town. The plan centres around three key themes with funding to deliver the following projects under each strand:

Innovative, growing businesses and a skilled work force

School of Nursing:
Youth and Retraining Pledge:
Creative Hub:
Multi-user Community Hub:

Sustainably connected town

Active and Clean Connectivity:

Historic riverfront and repurposed town centre

Riverfront Regeneration:
Public Realm:
St Georges Guildhall & Creative Hub

Six of the schemes within the Town Investment Plan form part of the Government’s £25m Town Deal, with the School of Nursing having secured a further £597,000 of Accelerated Town Deal Funding.
